The Course

This 10-month course offers beginners a structured and accessible introduction to herbalism, blending practical skills, cultural insights, and scientific exploration. Designed with a deep passion for plant-based healing, the curriculum adopts a global ethnobotanical perspective, exploring the history, cultural significance, and clinical applications of plant medicine. Students will learn the origins, evolution, and diverse uses of herbs, fostering a deeper connection to the plants they study.

Through hands-on experience, participants will create remedies such as tinctures, salves, and teas while understanding the chemical properties, therapeutic applications, and cultural narratives of herbs. By integrating evidence-based practices with traditional wisdom, the course ensures students gain both practical skills and scientific knowledge.

Graduates will emerge with a well-rounded foundation to integrate herbalism into personal practices, apply clinical principles, or start an herbal business. Most importantly, they will be equipped to contribute meaningfully to their communities, advancing access to plant-based health while preserving the rich traditions of herbal medicine.
